To teach is to love ~~love the kids and your subject!! Both a basis for success along with 3 key stages to being a great teacher-REACH 1st, then TOUCH their
interest, curiosity & intellect, last TEACH-values, principles, and fundamentals. The essential FOCUS is Hueristic~or developing creativity and expanding 5 W's (Who, What, Why, When & Where?) and How?? My specialty is Social Sciences-especially History; I have taught Gifted, Talented + I.B. & I. B. According to Emmanuel Kant, expericence is the BEST teacher. I've taught overseas in Africa, Spain, Finland,
and Lebanon; I received two Fulbrights to the latter locations. My specialties include Business and Industry training at Utah Valley University along with
Teacher Training at BYU for 15 years. Because of an illness, I retired briefly in August 2006. I'm hoping to teach again and pursuing a return to my love.
